Please see the attached photo of my edge. Most of the newer fords have daytime running lamps. Other drivers will notice your 2013 ford edge because of the increased illumination. I have a 2012 edge limited awd.

It has daytime running lights which i think is the small light bulb next to each headlight. And they re not even drls on the ford edge more like led light bars which provide even less light and probably explain his problem. Daytime running lights sometimes referred to as drls or dtrs are lights that switch on automatically when your 2013 ford edge is turned on and in drive.
